US Trust Expands Philanthropy Team

Bank of America's US Trust has reinforced its philanthropy team with two hires: Terry Hill has joined as sales director focused on non-profit institutions, while Adriane Russo has been named as a vice president and request-for-proposal specialist.

The hires follow the additions of Ann Limberg as head of philanthropic solutions and family office, and Bernie Reidy as national philanthropic sales executive, last year .

Hill's Chicago, IL-based position at US Trust is newly-created, the firm said, in which he will report to Reidy.

Specifically, he has been tasked with growing the Outsourced CIO business within US Trust's North-Central division. In doing so, he will support advisors on “sizable, sophisticated opportunities,” while also focusing on growing the firm's non-profit client base in the region.

He joins from Hirtle Callaghan, and before that spent time at Northern Trust and JP Morgan Private Bank.

“Terry is the first in a series of new hires that will build out a network of specialized sales directors to serve US Trust’s expanding non-profit business,” US Trust said.

Meanwhile, Russo is based in Wilmington, DE, and will report to Chris Mottershad, RPF manager and senior editor.

She spent the past ten years at Morgan Stanley in marketing, communications and business development roles for the firm’s investment advisory business – most recently as director of client relations and business development. In that role, she led business development efforts for the OCIO business, including the RFP response process.
